The meeting was called to order at 19:00 by President Chester Robinson.
First our guests were introduced. It is always great to have guests visit our club.
News Paper Ad Changes
Chester Robinson gave some more information on the newspaper announcements for our meetings and testings.
Glenn King had a few announcements.
Rough Draft of SOP(Standard Operating Procedures)
1. He told us that a rough draft of the Standard Operating Procedures had been drawn up.
Fair Parade September 21st. 145.210 repeater checkin.
2. Tuesday, September 21st will be the Fair Parade. The club is once again helping with questions, directions, and general public safety. All volunteers need to check in with Glenn the day of the parade and be there around 3pm - 4pm. Since the 146.970 repeater has been having a lot of problems, we will be using 145.210- with 114.8 pl tone. Glenn is going to try to have some safety vests for the volunteers. He will be around Ash and Robinson Streets where they can be picked up.
There will be another parade meeting Monday, September 20th at noon at the Western Sizzlin here in Conway. If you can attend please do so.
Arkansas State Simulated Disaster (October 2nd at EOC)
3. October 2nd will be the State Simulated Disaster. Glenn still has some details to ask about. He will be e-mailing those out as he gets them. Anyone that can volunteer to help with that needs to let Glenn know by October 1st, since it will be taking place at the EOC.
JOTA Cub Scouts Radio Day in Damascus (Volunteers Needed)
Chester mentioned that the Scouts will be meeting near Damascus the Saturday, November 13th. They are holding their JOTA. They are asking for HF radios so they can make contacts. Also volunteers are needed for control operators. The event will be held from 10am - 4 or 5 pm that day. Chester will also be e-mailing more details. If you can help with that, please let him know.

Club Apparel, Prices and Quotes.
Chester also talked about the club apparel. There are a lot of prices and discussion on what exactly we want to do. More details will be coming in the next month as we continue talking and getting quotes.
Craig Mangrum made the motion to adjourn. It was 2nd by Jim Durham. Meeting was adjourned at 19:38.
VE Test Session after meeting.
A testing was held afterwards. Almost everyone passed their tests that they were there to take. But, the nerves got the best of me. We'll see what happens this Saturday at the hamfest. But congratulations to everyone! And thanks to the VE's!
