FCARC Meeting Minutes 4/13/2004
The meeting was called to order by President Chester Robinson.
Little Rock Hamfest April 23rd & 24th
Glenn King reminded everyone about the Little Rock Ham fest April 23rd & 24th. On the 24th about 2pm, the club will be conducting the testing. All VE's are needed.
Toad Suck Daze Special Event Station
Perry Carleton then brought up the special event for Toad Suck Daze. It was decided that we would not be using the trailer the Little Rock ARES club offered to let us use due to the amount of space it would require. Perry also mentioned that he would check with the fire department and post office to see if we could use their facilities to operate from. Operation of the special event will be from 18:00 - 24:00 zulu or 1:00pm - 7:00pm Saturday, May 1st. Frankie Parks will announce the event on the Razorback net and Craig Mangrum will make the announcement on the CAREN club and Holley Mountain club nets. We will also ask the CAREN club for permission to use their 146.940 - W5DI repeater for 2 meter operation. We will also have someone monitoring the 146.970- WB5NXJ repeater.
Field Day 2004
Field Day is June 26th - 27th. We discussed some location possibilities. More discussions to come in the next meeting.
